I decided to take a journey across the galaxy. Throughout my journey I collected pieces of some of the greatest Wordpress themes in the cosmos floating amidst the space junk. I assembled them when I got back to Earth and created a deep space inspired theme, full of interstellar magic and mystery. Luminous takes you out to the fringe of the ionosphere and launches your blog into outer space. It is transparent, incandescent, dark and glowing at the same time, and it enhances your content against a supernova backdrop.
Luminous features a whopping five sidebars - two up top and three down below. It is a three column, XHTML & CSS compliant template that integrates seamlessly into any Wordpress installation (version 2.0+). All five sidebar panels are fully widget-enabled. Luminous is compatible with Firefox 2 & 3, Opera, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8 beta 1.
*UPDATED* 10/6/2008 @ 3:09 PM
The theme files have been updated. If you have previously downloaded this theme, please re-download the new files and replace your existing files. The updates are as follows:
- Comments form has been cleaned up
- RSS links are no longer hard-coded in the sidebar
- The theme no longer requires widgets - the sidebars have default content in case no dynamic sidebars (widgets) are found.
- The RSS buttons are moar prettier now
Stop complaining. You’re lucky I’m giving this theme away for free.

I don’t know what it is with me and plants, but this one is very organic, botanical, herbal, and just plain vegetal. I found a vector image that I loved and I knew I had to incorporate it into a theme. I wanted something that was comforting but bold at the same time. I don’t know what kind of flowers those are, but let’s just call them orchids because that’s a nice name for the template. The image was taken with permission from http://iunewind.com.
It’s another two column, widget enabled, XHTML & CSS compliant template that integrates seamlessly into any Wordpress installation (version 2.0+). Compatible with Firefox 2 & 3, Opera, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8 beta 1.

This is my second officially released theme. It’s based on the Blue Frost engine but it’s completely devoid of lines. White space is used to attain simplistic, clean flow and layout. I added a nice little splatter touch to keep things interesting.

This is my first officially released theme. I wanted to go with a fixed width design, but I wanted the top section of the page to feel fluid and fill the whole page. I started with the lotus flower image that I tweaked to match a blue color scheme, and from there I was inspired to do a frosted glass pane for the body.
It’s a two column, widget enabled, XHTML & CSS compliant template that integrates seamlessly into any Wordpress installation (version 2.0+). It’s uncluttered, frosty, and fresh, and it’s really fun to click on the shiny RSS buttons. Compatible with Firefox 2 & 3, Opera, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8 beta 1
I can also port it to any other color - lotus picture and all - so leave a comment if you would like to see it in another color scheme.
